Pupil Voice

Pupil voice is very important at Hutton CE Primary School, and we include it as part of our curriculum time, rather than being an extra-curricular activity. However many pupils do then choose to give up their spare time to continue to help the school and wider community. For example, playground buddies give up their lunchtimes to help children learn new games and find new friends and the gardening club have been helping the Hutton in Bloom team with their work in the village.

We have a number of different councils and pupil voice groups who all have their own jobs around school. Each council group is run by the children (with support from a member of staff if needed) who determine which projects they will be working on throughout each term.
