In the afternoon, Mrs. Cruse taught Class 6 all about the habitat of a compost bin, how composting works, and all about food chains.
Class 6 also looked for mini beasts at school and compred them to the ones found in the park, discussing why there would be similariies and differences. Finally, we dug our own vegetable patch (our ‘dig for victory’ garden) and planted potatoes, carrots, cabbages, runner beans and peas.
