Year 6 pupils who will sadly be leaving us in 2013 had a fantastic evening at their ‘School Prom’!
Wonderfully attired in their best suits, dresses and smart hairstyles, the pupils were welcomed with ‘buck’s fizz’ (minus the champagne!), took part in a ‘Who’s the baby?’ competition and feasted on a 3-course meal all in the school hall, which had been transformed with a black & white theme.
One of the highlights of the evening was the fantastic 3-tiered cake which was shared with the whole school. It featured many aspects of their school lives, including characters from ‘Charlie & the Chocolate Factory’ (their recent production) and the 4 different school tribes.
A huge thanks must go to all of the parents who helped to make the event such a huge success, including raising all of the money through ice-lolly sales! Well done everyone, and good luck at your new schools!
